We welcome maths enthusiasts of all abilities and backgrounds: regular MathsJam attendees, teachers, recreational puzzlers, and professionals. In short, anyone who enjoys maths!
This year's gathering will be held over the weekend of Saturday 25th - Sunday 26th October 2025 (Labour weekend).
Our venue Christchurch Park Accommodation, Function & Event Centre - 250 Westminster Street, Mairehau, Christchurch, New Zealand.
There are limited spaces available so get in quick. You can register any time from now until spaces fill up or October 10th - whichever comes earlier!
Final OMG registration closes on Friday October 10th.
The base registration is NZ$130 for the weekend.
For low waged / CSC holders / students registration will cost NZ$115
You won’t need to prove anything, just select the discount if it will make a difference for you.
This includes catering for the duration of the event.
On-site accommodation is optional, with prices starting at $60 / night.
We are also offering a day pass option for if you can't make the whole event.
The day pass for Saturday 25th October (entitling you to attend from 9am – late, including all events and catering for that day) is NZ$90
The day pass for Sunday 26th October (entitling you to attend from 9am – event end at 3:30pm, including all events and catering for that day) is NZ$60

We think MathsJam is an ideal professional development opportunity for teachers. If required, we can offer a certificate of attendance. Find out more on our PD page and make the case to your principal.
